Kelvin Health is a diagnostic tool focused on vascular pathology, enabling rapid and efficient non-invasive triage that is not bound to a specialist and is precise even for patients with diabetes.
We use a mobile thermal camera that captures the heat of the body, segments the thermal image, & applies AI to detect vascular-related anomalies.
More than 200 million suffer from PAD (Peripheral Arterial Disease), & because of the complicated access to precise diagnostics, each year, more than 20M people develop critical limb ischemia. A condition that first takes your limb and then kills you in less than five years in almost half of the cases.
Patients with diabetes have the highest risk and, ironically, are the hardest to diagnose because of the typical arterial calcification and their higher tolerance to pain.
The limited bandwidth of specialists creates additional problems for proper diagnostics and treatment of people with PAD.
