Cacaus Biocosméticos is a social and environmental impact startup that transforms cocoa waste into sustainable biocosmetics. 90 percent of cocoa fruit, like husks, pulp, and cocoa honey is discarded as waste. The bioactive compounds contained in cacao waste could help to solve the problem of 20 percent of the Brazilian population that has skin or hair problems. Many problems are caused by petroleum ingredients. Our solutions are natural, organic, and vegan cosmetics made with cocoa bioactive extracted from agro-industrial waste biomass. Sustainable cosmetics with multifunctional properties such as antioxidant, probiotic, prebiotic, and anti-acne, scientifically proven but without using animal tests. we are focusing on the cosmetics industry and the personal care, wellness, and care sectors. we can broaden our focus to the dermo-cosmetic sector because our cosmetics have prebiotic and probiotic properties. We are focusing also on the cacao agroindustry to have new ingredients.
